WORKING Beautiful Herschede Vintage Hall or Mantel Clock For Sale

This Herschede mantel clock manufactured in the US during the 1950s per Herschede’s sales brochure found online. This is Model 710 and it has a white dial with Arabic numerals, serpentine hands, and a rich, bronze bezel with convex glass. The wooden clock case is stated as fine mahogany with a honey or butterscotch finish. Its movement was manufactured in West Germany.
This clock is an 8-day winder and it comes with a key. It works very well and keeps good time. It sounds on the hour and half-hour in “bim-bam” fashion with the higher note played last, leaving a harmoniously uplifting sound. Its finely-tuned chime rods are a joy to hear.
This clock would make a beautiful gift for someone special or even a wonderful addition to your clock collection. It has a few minor scratches and wear marks but has been well-preserved considering its age. It is rare and there’s not likely not another like it readily found.
